Eric Woo is a Senior Associate at Venturi Partners and is actively involved across all stages of investment, including sourcing to execution. My passion for investing has been forged over a multitude of experiences, spanning energy and minerals investment banking, late-stage unicorn investments, to working with early-stage tech founders on fundraising and strategy. Now focused on consumer growth opportunities across India and Southeast Asia, nothing excites me more than being able to step into the shoes of the end user and work with visionary founders who are transforming the way people experience life.

Outside of the office, I love keeping active in the outdoors, whether through team sports such as rugby or soaking up the sun with a frisbee in hand. I am an avid reader of science fiction and serial consumer of tech gadgets, board games, and plane tickets.

Over the last 18 years, I have been fortunate to work across consumer categories and business models, often as an intrapreneur; building, transforming, and scaling businesses from within. That journey has shaped my belief that strategy only truly matters when it’s paired with execution and strong teams on the ground.

Working across diverse businesses has given me the adaptability to think differently about models, markets, and the unique challenges each industry presents. I bring an entrepreneurial mindset with a strong execution bias, and I care deeply about building high-performance teams anchored in ownership, accountability, and trust.

Having begun my career at Ernst & Young, I developed a strong grounding in how companies are built and scaled, which laid the foundation for my passion for investing.

Through my investing journey across Consumer, Tech, B2B and Manufacturing, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for long-term value creation and the importance of true partnership with founders, shaped by my previous experiences at Lighthouse Funds and 360 One Asset Management. I bring a long-term ownership mindset to my work and enjoy partnering with founders, supporting them through the many phases of growth.

Outside of work, you’ll usually find me playing racquet sports or exploring street food countrywide — taste-testing with a working thesis in mind.

I began my career at Bain, advising consumer and lifestyle companies on growth and operational strategy - then moved into operating roles where performance is measured in inventory turns, pricing discipline, and cash flow reality, not slides and Excel models.

At Venturi Partners, I invest in Indian consumer businesses built to last. I look for durable moats - distribution, brand, or structural cost advantages - that strengthen with scale. Capital allocation discipline matters as much as growth.

Outside of work, I'm drawn to market cycles, historical patterns, and long-form thinking - occasionally disappearing into three-hour podcasts on magnesium metabolism or obscure economic regimes. Hiking across new terrains keeps things grounded, and the ongoing pursuit of the best burger in every country remains a very serious side project.

I’m an Associate at Venturi Partners, focused on backing the next generation of Indian consumer brands. I started my professional journey as a management consultant at KPMG, working in the consumer markets team and then transitioned to investing with Fireside Ventures, where I got the opportunity to share a room with some passionate early-stage founders.

While growing up, I lived across cities in India that gave me exposure to the regional nuances that spreadsheets often miss. I am a strong believer in the Indian consumption story and am always on the pursuit to try new products.

Outside of work, I'm an avid sports enthusiast (always up for a game of squash), an amateur mixologist, and constantly planning my next trip. If you’re building something iconic or know an interesting bar, let’s talk.

With nearly a decade immersed in finance and operations, I’ve cultivated a deep expertise in the PE/VC world, navigating a diverse range of roles on both the sell side and buy side. My career journey began at PwC, where I sharpened my skills in accounting and financial analysis. Since then, I’ve worked alongside both local and leading Chinese venture capital firms, building robust financial reporting systems from the ground up and overseeing complex fund operations with a meticulous focus on detail and strategy.

Outside of work, I’m a foodie who loves exploring everything from Michelin-starred restaurants to local street food. When I’m not trying new dishes, I enjoy solving puzzles and staying active with barre classes.

With over 20 years of administrative experience in the banking and financial industries, I have developed a strong skill set in organization, discipline, and dependability. A born-and-bred Singaporean, I take pride in my heritage and the values that shape my work ethic and approach to life. I am a daughter, a wife, and the proud mother of my son, Jordan. My family is at the core of my life, and I bring the same dedication, reliability, and teamwork to my role as a mother and partner as I do in my career.
